Things We Value Most

Wednesday, June 30th, 2010

As we all know that each and every one of us has a lot of things that we do value in life. There are things that it seems worthless and vain but it is very important to other people, as they treat it as their life and that is how they valued it. I just remember my Toyota Camry which I do value most, because it is the first car that I have bought in my own money and it is my achievement.

But onetime when I drive it, it suddenly stops and didn’t run, which makes me so nervous that’s why I bring it in the Chicago auto repair shop where my dad use to bring his cars when it has problems. And we have found out that the problem of my car is the timing belt, I just know where the problem is but I didn’t able to know what is the problem but I am happy that the car I value most is being repaired by this auto repair shop.

First Time for Everything

Busy balancing career and family life, three women take a break for a makeover to make their fashion wishes come true. Scheduling is also important –with five children who each have their own activities, it helps to know everyone’s schedules so that we know when we can all be together as a family. Quality is better than quality –spending three meaningful hours with my kids doing a shared activity is better than spending the entire day at home but hardly interacting. If I don’t work out in the morning, I’m sluggish for the rest of the day.

I consider working out as my Pinky Hour –an hour or two I devote to myself daily. Being a successful executive and a devoted parent are not polar opportunities –they are two sides of the same coin and complement one another. Some of my most effective marketing campaigns have been formulated because of the insights I have gained as a mother.
